A lovely surprise was waiting in my mailbox yesterday: the new issue of beautiful Inside Out magazine. And not just any issue, it's the 10th Anniversary issue complete with a special edition Rob Ryan cover for subscribers, and a Rob Ryan design tea towel. Nice one!
Photographer Sharyn Cairns (I previously posted about Sharyn here) and stylist Glen Proebstel worked together to create the most lush and gorgeous images depicting the traditional anniversary gifts. Think cotton, leather, linen, wood, etc. Aren't these shots divine! (although my photos of the magazine taken at first light this morning on my kitchen sink hardly do the images justice)
To mark their anniversary Inside Out asked a number of creatives of varied disciplines to create an artwork that represents 'Heart & Home'. The pieces are to be auctioned for the Heartkids charity. Contributors include Akira Isogawa, Louise Olsen, Kylie Johnson, Fleur Wood, Lizzie Buckmaster Dove, Beci Orpin, and David Bromley.
The auction isn't online yet, but I assume it will be next Wednesday when the magazine hits the news stands. There's some awesome works and it's a great cause. See you there. And make sure you get yourself a copy of Inside Out - for me it was worth the cover price just to drool over the divine Sharyn Cairns photos, let alone the Rob Ryan tea towel, and all the usual fab content. Oh, and there's a peek inside Lee Mathews' home which has lots of vintage style... to die for.

I'm a bit slow off the mark with blogging today... it was my daughter's first day at 'big school'. I'm way behind after spending a while at school then going off with some other parents for brunch.
So I'm taking the easy way out by sharing some absolutely gorgeous photos, with minimal input from me. The stunning images below are the work of Australian photographer Sharyn Cairns. Aren't they just so beautifully lit, styled and shot? I recognise most of them from Inside Out, one of my fave interiors magazines.
